White Tantric Yoga, this all-day meditation experience is both challenging and uplifting. It raises us to the heights of our excellence and crystallizes our commitment to transformation. It is an event unsurpassed for its power and ecstasy.
Our minds release a thousand thoughts within the wink of an eye. They become feelings, emotions, desires and multi-realities, lost in the unconscious and subconscious mind effecting the conscious mind and ruling our lives.
White Tantric Yoga is a sacred science which allows us to experience release from these subconscious blocks and limitations in the shortest period of time. It helps us achieve the freedom we need to accomplish our life's goals and fulfill our mission.
White Tantric Yoga is practiced in pairs as a group meditation. You will sit facing a partner and follow instructions for meditation given on a video tape by the Mahan Tantric, Yogi Bhajan. Every course is facilitated, in person, by a representative of the Mahan Tantric.
The day consists of six to eight meditations or kriyas incorporating a seated yogic posture and a hand posture (mudra), a mental focus, breathing technique (pranayama) and usually a mantra often accompanied by music. They are typically 31 - 62 minutes in length with a break between each kriya.
Things to bring with you...
• The bulk of the day is in seated postures so a yoga mat, or sheep skin, or blanket to sit on comfortably.
• Wear white clothing (or very light colors) and a white natural head covering.
• A bottle of water is valuable.
Vegetarian lunch, and yogi tea, is included in the course fee. If you prefer a snack prior to lunch or in the late afternoon there is often fruit available or you may wish to bring something light and healthy.
Question: What if I don't have a partner?
Answer: White Tantric Yoga is an individual experience that is done in a group. The monitors will help you find an appropriate partner.
Question: I've never done a long meditation, how do I prepare?
Answer: As in a yoga class we find our selves capable of more than we expect. This is even truer in White Tantric Yoga where the enregy field created by the group carries us through unexpected keeping up! It is best to eat extra healthy and avoid caffeine and intoxicants for at least a week before the course. Why? Because your body will be called to eliminate both physical and mental "garbage" that limits us, and we can control at least one of them.
Question: What do I do after the course?
Answer: The effects of White Tantric Yoga establish themselves in forty days after the course. It is best to keep up a regular meditation and yoga practice especially during those days as well as avoiding toxic environments, foods, etc.
