When someone comes to a Kundalini Yoga class or workshop at Spirit Rising Yoga they can expect to be taught by trained Kundalini Yoga teachers certified by the Kundalini Research Institute, an internationally accredited organization. They are all recognized as qualified Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT 200) by Yoga Alliance, the national association of Yoga teachers.
Most of the Spirit Rising Yoga teachers have graduated from Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training Level 1 at Spirit Rising Yoga, while others have gained their training completing other courses.
Spirit Rising Yoga also has two of the Midwest's few, Experienced Yoga Teachers (E-RYT 500) who qualify for over 5,000 hours teaching experience. They are S. S. Shiva Singh Khalsa, E-RYT 500 and Shabad Kaur Khalsa.MA, LMFT, LCPC, E-RYT 500.
